Target Bowls

Target Bowls is a precision ball sport that is similar to lawn bowls and is designed specifically to reward good consistent bowling. The game is played outdoors on a modified lawn bowls green consisting of one or more rinks that have painted targets on the grass at each end. This is where the action happens.

Target Bowls rules have been created to reward multiple members of each team for good bowling, unlike the main stream version of lawn bowls where only the best bowls count each end. The aim is to score points with each bowl that comes to rest on the target.

Target Bowls is great for everyone and has been inspired to specifically encourage participation by individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.
